Maddie moved to the DC area for college from her hometown of Lexington, Kentucky where hospitality runs deep. While studying public policy at American University, she picked up a hosting gig and absolutely fell in love with the restaurant industry. She hasn’t left since. She spent time at the Navy Yard as a manager to learn the ins and outs of The Salt Line before transferring over to Ballston to start the Arlington team! Her passions for sustainable sourcing and creative flavor combinations make The Salt Line a perfect fit for her. In Maddie’s free time, you can find her walking Arya, her Pitbull mix, and Orzo, her Italian Greyhound around Arlington. Her dogs are among the only things she loves more than oysters and champagne.
